Warrington couple win dream cruise holiday

WARRINGTON couple, Ann and Terry Knowles have won back the cost of their dream cruise during a virtual cruise event.

The couple attended a Barrhead Travel cruise event weekend which included a virtual get-together to join the conversation surrounding UK cruises, COVID-19 safety precautions and the cruise sector’s plans for sunnier sails ahead. Anyone who booked a cruise that weekend was automatically entered into a prize draw to win the cost of their cruise back.

Mrs Knowles said: “I am over the moon to have been reimbursed for my cruise around the UK this summer. What a lovely surprise it was, if it wasn’t for COVID-19 I would have hugged Simon, the Barrhead Travel Store Manager!”
The couple is due to set sail this summer on a staycation cruise, sailing around the British coastline – capturing that holiday feeling at home.
