Police investigate reports of items being dropped from bridge on to passing vehicles

POLICE have been investigating reports of youngsters dropping items off a bridge at Appleton on to passing vehicles over the weekend.

Officers from Stockton Heath attended at Lumb Brook Bridge following reports of youths dropping items from the bridge onto passing vehicles yesterday, (Saturday) evening.



They are asking parents who know their children were playing out in the area to have a discussion with them about the dangers this could present to a passing motorist.
Meanwhile, officers have also been out on Fairfield Road with the Tru Cam following some high speeds on Friday.
While there were no activations on this occasion routine enforcement will continue.
