A WARRINGTON schoolboy is in training to climb Snowden to help raise funds for a new playground at his local primary school.

Tyler-James Perkins is a year one pupil at Stockton Heath Primary School and on June 6 he will be climbing Snowdon to raise some money for a new playground at school.

He said: “I love to play outside with my friends and can’t wait to have new equipment to play with.
“I’ve never climbed Snowdon before this is my first big mountain and I’m very excited about it. Please can you help me and my school by sponsoring me however much you would like I will be really grateful for it. Wish me luck and thank you!”
