WARRINGTON Wolves star signing Greg Inglis is set to be out of action for at least eight weeks after suffering a hamstring tear against Huddersfield Giants recently.

Inglis, who had just scored his second try for the club, limped off shortly after scoring.

Today his injury was confirmed as a Grade 3 tear, which means he will be out for a minimum of eight weeks, meaning he will miss the club’s Challenge Cup semi-final clash against Castleford Tigers.
Speaking ahead of Thursday night’s game against Salford Red Devils, Head Coach Steve Price confirmed the bad news saying: “It’s really unfortunate for Greg as he was starting to get some really good football under his belt but he will work hard in his rehab and get back in the not too distant future.
“It is unfortunate but these things happen in Rugby League.”
Inglis, who came out of retirement to play for the Wolves after nearly two years out of the game after hanging up his boots down under in April 2019, missed the first few games of the season, to give himself chance to get fit.
