COVID-19 infection rates continue to fall in Warrington as six new cases confirmed

WHILE six new COVID-19 cases have been confirmed in Warrington in the latest data from Public Health England, infection rates are continuing to fall and are less than half the national rate.

Yesterday four new cases were reported in Warrington. The total number of confirmed COVID-19 cases reported in Warrington since the start of the pandemic is now 17,938 (*17,932).
Cases in Warrington for the last seven days has fallen to 19 (23) – 9 (11) per 100,000 population -less than half the national rate of 21.6 (22) per 100,000.
