Stockton Heath’s Mulberry Tree beer garden to get a facelift

PLANNING chiefs have given the go-ahead for innovative improvements to the rear beer garden at Stockton Heath’s popular Mulberry Tree pub.

The proposals also required Listed Building consent becase the pub, which dates from 1907, is a Grade 2 Listed Building.



Aim of the scheme is to enhance the building’s contribution to the village centre as well as revitalise the pub.
An existing, poor-quality covered canopy will be removed.
There will be a new louvre roof canopy system, new fencing and gates, external seating booths and external bar/servery, etc..
