Police helicopter and armed officers in hunt for man damaging cars

THE Police helicopter and armed officers were called out in the Fairfield and Howley area of Warrington last night, following reports of a man, possibly armed with a weapon, damaging cars in the area.

Police enquiries are currently ongoing and anyone with information is urged to contact police.
A Cheshire Police spokesperson said: “Shortly before 11pm on Tuesday 18 May police were called to reports of a man, possibly armed with a weapon, who was damaging cars on Farrell Street, Fairfield and Howley. Warrington.
“Local officers, supported by the police helicopter and armed officers as a precaution, attended the scene and made a thorough search of the area but there was no trace of the man.
