COVID-19 infection rates in Warrington almost half the national average

THREE new COVID-19 cases have been confirmed in Warrington in the latest data from Public Health England while no new deaths have been reported for more than a week and infection rates are almost half the national average.

The three (7) new cases in Warrington in the latest 24-hour daily update from Public Health England, means the total number of confirmed COVID-19 cases reported in Warrington since the start of the pandemic are 17,932 (17,929).
Cases in Warrington for the last seven days remain at 25 (25) – 11.9 (11.9) per 100,000 population. This compares to the national rate of 21.9 (21.6) per 100,000.
