Police investigate after youths seen throwing baby ducklings in park

POLICE have confirmed a family of ducklings is safe and well after receiving reports that the ducklings were being thrown around by a group of youths.

Officers, who have been carrying out regular patrols around Alexandra Park following ongoing problems involving anti-social behaviour, visited the park after receiving complaints that youths were seen throwing the ducklings around, yesterday, Sunday.



A Cheshire Police spokesperson said: “At 2.45pm on Sunday, May 9, police received a report of youths throwing ducklings at Alexandra Park in Stockton Heath.
“Officers attended to the scene and found the ducklings to be safe and well.
“Anyone with any information is asked to contact Cheshire Police on 101, quoting incident number IML983784.”
