WITH the end of the third and hopefully final lockdown, thoughts are turning to holidays and for many this will mean a staycation in the UK.
This could be a visit to the coast, perhaps the countryside or even a city break. You may be thinking that you want to take your bikes with you, but don’t know where to start in terms of transporting them?
Well, rest assured that BAS can provide you with everything you need to make this possible and it really is easier than you think!
There are three main types of cycle carriers: roof-mounted, towbar mounted and boot mounted. For each type of cycle carrier, there are numerous options to suit all budgets and requirements. There are carriers available that will hold between two and four bikes, so you can choose the best option for you and your family. For the towbar mounted carriers, there are also versions that tilt to allow access to the boot, whilst the carrier is in use.
If you think a towbar mounted bike carrier would be the best option for you, but you don’t currently have a towbar fitted, this isn’t a problem as BAS has been supplying and fitting towbars for over 40 years. Fitting is available at both our workshop in Warrington and as a mobile service, so it can be completed at your home or place of work and most towbars only take half a day or less to be fitted.
