ONE new COVID-19 related death has sadly been reported at Warrington Hospital over the Bank Holiday weekend while just two new cases have been confirmed by Public Health England.
The 2 (6) new cases in the latest 24-hour daily update from Public Health England, means the total number of confirmed COVID-19 cases reported in Warrington since the start of the pandemic is now 17,896 (17,894).
Cases in Warrington for the last seven days were 46 (46) – 21.9 (21.9) per 100,000 population, showing a levelling in new cases over a seven-day period. This compares to the national rate of 22.6 (22.9) per 100,000.
