Five found to be possessing drugs in Police stop and search operation at Warrington West Station

POLICE carried out five positive stop and searches involving drugs in a joint operation with British Transport Police at Warrington West Railway Station recently.

Local officers worked alongside British Transport Police officers and staff from Network Rail together with specially trained Police drug Dog Rufus.



They carried 5 positive stop searches in relation to drugs.
Officers were also on the lookout for people carrying knives as part of Operation Sceptre – but none were recovered.
