POLICE have stepped up high visibility patrols at The Old Rectory on Lady Lane, Croft, following ongoing issues with youths gathering and vandalising the premises.
Local PCSO Darren Samuel is appealing to parents to encourage their children to avoid the location.
He said: “This is still private property and therefore criminal damage.”
A local resident recently tackled three young lads attempting to kick in the back door of the premises before running off across the Battlefield after being challenged.
