Just one new COVID-19 case reported in Warrington in latest daily update

JUST one new COVID-19 case has been reported in Warrington in the latest data from Public Health England following on from yesterday’s two.

Infection rates over a seven-day period remain marginally up but this looks likely to fall based on recent figures, although delays in reporting cases can cause spikes.
It is the lowest number of new cases since August last year.



The 1 (2) new case in the latest 24-hour daily update from Public Health England, means the total number of confirmed COVID-19 cases reported in Warrington since the start of the pandemic is now 17,834 (17,833).
Cases in Warrington for the last seven days were 49 (48) – 23.3 (22.9) per 100,000 population, showing another small increase in new cases over a seven-day period. This compares to the national rate of 24.7 (24.8) per 100,000.
