No new COVID-19 related deaths but 10 new cases show small increase in infection rates

WHILE no new COVID-19 related deaths have been reported at Warrington Hospital 10 new cases have been confirmed in the latest data from Public Health England, showing a small increase in infection rates over a seven-day period.

The 10 (7) new cases in the latest daily update from Public Health England, means the total number of confirmed COVID-19 cases reported in Warrington since the start of the pandemic is now 17,824 (17,814).
Cases in Warrington for the last seven days were 49 (45) – 23.3 (21.4) per 100,000 population, showing a small increase in new cases over a seven-day period for the first time in five days. This compares to the national rate of 24.3 (25.2) per 100,000.
