Bus evacuated as firefighters tackle overheating brakes

TWO fire crews were called out following reports of brakes overheating on a bus on Liverpool Road, Warrington, earlier today, Thursday.

Crews from Warrington and Penketh attended the incident shortly after 4pm.



The bus was fully evacuated before crews used a hose reel to cool it down.
A thermal imaging camera was then used to check the temperature to ensure there was no risk of fire.
