Rylands learn possible FA Vase quarter-final opponents

WARRINGTON Rylands 1906 have learned who they could play in the quarter-finals of the Buildbase FA Vase if they are successful in defeating North Ferriby on Saturday.

The draw for the last eight of the competition, which started in September with 612 entrants, released this afternoon by the Football Association has paired the winners of the Saturday’s Gorsey Lane tie with the winners of the Hebburn Town v Congleton Town 5th round tie.



The winners of the Warrington Rylands v North Ferriby game, which is being played behind closed doors, will host the quarter-final tie on Saturday 1st May (still without spectators) two days before Hebburn Town of the Northern League play league rivals Conset at Wembley Stadium in the final of the 2019/20 competition which was postponed due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
While, fellow NWCFL Premier Division outfit Congleton Town provided the opposition in Rylands last league game on 3rd November 2020 which Rylands won 3-0 with goals from Kane Drummond, Charlie Doyle and Elliot Nevit.
