Lymm student appointed as new Assistant Chief Youth Officer at Warrington Youth Voice

WARRINGTON Youth Voice has appointed Lymm High School Student Reece Connell as the Assistant Chief Youth Officer for Warrington.

Reece has stepped into the role of Assistant Chief Youth Officer, which means he will have responsibility for ensuring that the Pledges and Priorities of Warrington Youth Voice are implemented on an operational basis. Reece will directly oversee 5 Heads of Departments covering areas such as Economic Regeneration, Education, Wellbeing, Health, Community, Transport, Environment and Climate Change.



Reece has a vast amount of experience on his school council at Lymm High School, Reece was also appointed as Head of Economic Regeneration and is currently leading the planning of a large youth programme for the central 6 areas of Warrington, however this is in its early planning stages.
Reece said: “Moving forward I hope to support the operational management of Warrington Youth Voice in the discharge of their duties and look forward to working with them on the many projects that we have going on now and in the future.
“Since I was a very young child my parents have always taught me the value of money, this is something that has helped me in my role as Head of Economic Regeneration and I would like to thank my family for being so supportive of my ambitions.”
Louis Groarke, Chief Youth Officer added “Warrington Youth Voice is a growing organisation and we are always looking for new and innovative officers such as Reece, we want to continue serving our community of Warrington for the young people across Warrington.
“It is important to realise the scale at which we work with regards to both quality, quantity and both social & monetary vale of our projects and schemes, but also how much hard work the young people such as Reece Connell are putting in to ensure others are able to live better lives and have more opportunities as young people in Warrington.”
