COVID-19 infection rates fall as eight new cases confirmed

NEW COVID-19 infection rates in Warrington have fallen with eight new cases confirmed in the latest data from Public Health England.

The 8 (9) new cases in the latest daily update from Public Health England, means the total number of confirmed COVID-19 cases reported in Warrington since the start of the pandemic is now 17,788 (17,780).
Cases in Warrington for the last seven days, previous days/updates in brackets, are now 68 (77) – 32.4 (36.7) per 100,000 population, showing a marginal decrease in new cases over a seven day period. This compares to the national rate of 29.3 (28.7) per 100,000.
