Four new COVID-19 cases confirmed in Warrington

Four new COVID-19 cases have been confirmed in Warrington in the latest data from Public Health England, although there has been a marginal increase in the rate of infections over seven days, slightly above the national average.

The 4 (16) new cases in the latest daily update mean the total number of confirmed COVID-19 cases reported in Warrington since the start of the pandemic is now 17,738 (17,734).
You have to go back to August last year to find lower numbers of new cases since.
*Changes in reporting methods have seen 31 cases removed from Warrington’s figures this week.
Cases in Warrington for the last seven days, previous days/updates in brackets, are now 65 (64) – 31 (30.5) per 100,000 population, showing a marginal increase in new cases over a seven day period. This compares to the national rate of 29.9 (30.7) per 100,000.
