Sixteen new COVID-19 cases confirmed as downward trend continues

A total of sixteen new COVID-19 cases have been confirmed in Warrington in the latest data from Public Health England, continuing a downward trend.

The 16 (9) new cases in the latest daily update means the total number of confirmed COVID-19 cases reported in Warrington since the start of the pandemic is now 17,734 (17,718).
*Changes in reporting methods have seen 31 cases removed from Warrington’s figures this week.
Cases in Warrington for the last seven days, previous days/updates in brackets, are now 64 (60) – 30.5 (33) per 100,000 population, showing a downward trend in new cases over a seven day period. This compares to the national rate of 30.7 (32.7) per 100,000.
