No new hospital deaths as COVID-19 inpatient numbers continue to fall

NO new COVID-19 related deaths have been reported at Warrington Hospital, where inpatient numbers are continuing to fall, while 10 new cases has shown a very slight increase over seven days, although remaining below the national average.

The 10 (9) new cases in the latest daily update means the total number of confirmed COVID-19 cases reported in Warrington since the start of the pandemic is now 17,740 (17,730).
Cases in Warrington for the last seven days, previous days/updates in brackets, are now 73 (72) – 34.8 (34.3) per 100,000 population, showing a very slight increase in new cases over a seven day period. This compares to the national rate of 39 (39) per 100,000.
