Police warn of spike in cycle thefts in Birchwood area

POLICE are warning of a spike in cycle thefts in the Birchwood area of Warrington.

In two incidents, entry was forced into a shed in order to gain access to the pedal cycles.



Police are warning cyclists to ensure sheds are secure to deter would-be thieves and to also consider having your bike marked.

Meanwhile, Warrington Town centre Police have organised a FREE bike marking event at Halford’s this coming Sunday from 11am-2pm at Halford’s on the Riverside Retail Park.
