Darron on track with marathon charity run for The Christie

MARATHON man Darron Bibby from Culcheth is putting in the miles to raise funds for The Christie Charity in Manchester.

The charity provides enhanced services over and above what the NHS funds and help make a massive difference to the care and treatment they provide to patients and their families.



He is aiming to run a minimum of 1,000 miles throughout 2021 averaging 20 to 25 miles per week and will also do a run on Christmas & Boxing Day, his last run for this fundraiser will be on New Year’s Eve.
So far 288 miles have been run this year (up to 31st March 2021) so this leaves just 712 miles to go to achieve his minimum target.
Darron said: “So far I have raised £1315.00 through my truly wonderful & amazing supporters who have kindly sponsored me.
“If anyone would like to sponsor me they can either make a one-off donation or alternatively sponsor me a minimum of a penny for every mile I complete. Donations can be made on my just giving page as follows:
