Nine new COVID-19 cases as rates continue to fall in Warrington

NINE new COVID-19 cases have been confirmed in Warrington in the latest data from Public Health England as rates continue to fall in the town and remain below the national average.

The 9 (16) new cases in the latest daily update means the total number of confirmed COVID-19 cases reported in Warrington since the start of the pandemic is now 17,700 (17,691).
Cases in Warrington for the last seven days, previous days/updates in brackets, are now 101 (108) – 48.1 (51.4) per 100,000 population, showing a decrease in infection rates for a fifth consecutive day. This compares to the national rate of 50.2 (53.7) per 100,000.
