POLICE are stepping up patrols following mindless acts of vandalism at St Lewis’ RC Primary School in Croft, Warrington.

Despite all the hard work of the parents and staff to keep things going over the last year the school has become a victim of mindless vandalism.
Damage has been caused in the last few days to the outdoor furniture in the grounds.

A local police spokesperson said: “Please speak with your children and teenagers to tell them how wrong this is and how hard people are working to ensure they can have as normal a time as possible.
“Patrols will be stepped up following the damage and anyone found in School Grounds will be dealt with robustly.”
