Motorist arrested on M62 was more than FOUR times drink driving limit!

A MOTORIST stopped by police on the M62 at Birchwood during the early hours of this morning was found to be more than FOUR times the drink driving limit.

The driver of the car was stopped near J11 Westbound and provided a positive breath test of 159mgs – the legal limit is 35.

He was arrested and taken into custody during the early hours of this morning, Tuesday March 30.
Police recovered the Golf vehicle from the motorway.
