NO new COVID-19 deaths have been reported at Warrington Hospital for a fourth consecutive day while new infection rates have fallen again in the latest data from Public Health England.
The 15 (5) new cases in the latest daily update from Public Health England means the total number of confirmed COVID-19 cases reported in Warrington since the start of the pandemic is now 17,636 (17,621).
But Warrington’s infection rate remains higher than the national average.
Cases in Warrington for the last seven days, previous days/updates in brackets, are now 150 (164) – 71.4 (78.1) per 100,000 population, showing a decrease in infection rates.
This compares to the national rate of 56.4 (56.4) per 100,000.
