COMMUNITY group, Helping Hands Culcheth Glazebury & Croft was delighted to receive a huge cache of supplies this week from the employees of H&M Distribution.

Organised by Kimberley Morris, Business Development Manager and Operations Manager Clive Brooks, over two pallets of essentials were collected by kind-hearted staff and donated.

Wendy Maisey OBE, founder of Helping Hands Culcheth Glazebury & Croft said: “I was contacted by Clive Brooks a couple of weeks ago asking if we’d like him to organise a collection for us. We were thrilled but had no idea of the scale of the donation and the kindness shown by H&M Distribution employees. They’ve also included some Easter Eggs to kick start our appeal.
Kimberley Morris added: “Clive had mentioned a few times about a great community group that was set up during the first lockdown in April 2020 and what a big impact it was having to the vulnerable people in and around the Culcheth area. We sent out a leaflet to our staff and put a donation point at the offices. We too were overwhelmed by the generosity of everyone, it was a great team effort. It’s been a great morale booster and talking point at work and we’re hoping to repeat the exercise in the Autumn.”
