No reported dog thefts in South Warrington say police

POLICE say there have been no reported dog thefts in South Warrington in response to rumours on social media in the area.

Numerous posts have been made warning people about dogs being stolen in the area.



Appleton Police say have been made aware of rumours of Dog thefts doing the rounds on social media.
They posted: “We would like to take this opportunity to assure you that there have been no reported incidents of Dog Theft throughout Warrington South.
“It’s a very emotive topic with the trend on the rise nationally so we do understand people’s concerns.
