Fire crew help rescue dog from Lymm Dam

FIREFIGHTERS using a raft helped rescue a dog stuck in bramble at Lymm Dam.

One fire engine attended from Lymm shortly before 11am today, Wednesday, following reports of a dog stuck in water in Lymm Dam near to Church Road.



The pet had become stuck in brambles and was safely rescued by crews on a raft boat.
Meanwhile, in another incident, shortly after 2.30pm one fire engine from Warrington attended reports of a car fire.
Firefighters used two hose reel jets to extinguish a car fire in Bostock Street, Warrington.
