Workers evacuated after fire breaks out

STAFF were evacuated from a works building at High Legh, near Warrington this morning after fire broke out.

The blaze involved an extractor unit and fire engines from Warrington and Lymm were sent to the scene.



Two firefighters wearing breathing apparatus tackled the blaze, using one hose reel jet. No injuries were reported
The temperature of the area was monitored before the crews handed the scene back to on-site employees.
Firefighters were at the scene for around one hour and 15 minutes.
