VANDALS have struck ay Victoria Park, Warrington, smashing glass panels on shelters used by bowlers and allotment holders.
Latchford PCSOs have reported the damage to Warrington Borough Council. The vandalism has taken place on the bowling green and allotments on the park.
Officers will now be increasing patrols in the area.
Meanwhile, a knife sweep in wooded areas around Victoria Park found some items which could be used as offensive weapons, including a bladed saw.
