A TALENTED four-year-old girl raised more than £70 for an animal charity by putting on an art sale outside her home.
Betsy Healing, from Glazebrook, a pupil at the ABC Pre-School in Culcheth, painted a number of pictures and put them on show outside the house.
She then sat there all day – even having her meals outside – to draw attention to her exhibition.
Passersby soon spotted the show, recognised Betsy’s talent and determination, and donate money.
The money went to the charity Animals in Distress.
Proud Dad Chris Healing said: “I don’t think people could resist making a donation when they saw Betsy and her paintings.
“She certainly made sure people noticed her – even having her tea outside to make sure she didn’t miss anyone.”
