Road closure to allow BT to carry out urgent repairs at Appleton

AN Appleton road will be closed for up to five days from today, to allow BT to carry out urgent works to restore customers out of service.

The Warrington Borough Council Traffic Order takes effect from today, Thursday 11th March 2021, for a period not exceeding 5 days,on Firs Lane, from its junction with Windmill Lane to its junction with Park Lane.
The Closure will be in place between the hours of 9:30am and 3:30pm as and when the signs are in place on-site. Access will be under the control of the relevant Contractor for the duration of the works.
The alternative route will be via Red Lane, Whitefield Road, Walton Lea Road, Houghs Lane, Park Lane and vice versa.
The reason for the closure is to allow BT to carry out urgent works to restore customers out of service.
