ONE more patient has sadly died at Warrington Hospital after testing positive for COVID-19 since yesterday while 33 new cases have been confirmed in the town continuing a downward trend.
The 33 (16) new cases in the latest daily update from Public Health England means the total number of confirmed COVID-19 cases reported in Warrington since the start of the pandemic is now 17,064 (17,031).
Cases in Warrington for the last seven days, previous days/updates in brackets, are 211 (230) – 100.5 (109.5) per 100,000 population, continuing a downward trend over a seven-day period. This compares to the national rate of 89.2 (94.9) per 100,000.
