A man has been arrested n Warrington in connection with the alleged theft of two HGVs following a joint police operation across three forces earlier today.
Two HGVs stolen from Wigan were tracked onto the M6 and sighted by police patrols. The vehicles were followed into Warrington by Greater Manchester Police’s Traffic Unit where the area was contained by Cheshire Police’s Road and Crime Unit and Merseyside Police.
Both trucks were located and one male was arrested and taken into police custody for questioning.
