Youngsters praised by police for assisting elderly man

TWO youngsters have been praised by police after coming to the assistance of an elderly man at Appleton, Warrington, yesterday evening.

The elderly man was found wandering around the Appleton area in a confused state.

A police spokesperson said: “A massive thanks to the two young lads who contacted us when they discovered an old gentleman wandering around Appleton in a confused state and waited with him
until we arrived.
“Happy to report we managed to contact his family and get him to safety.”
