A parish Cllr. has expressed outrage over a “misleading political leaflet” which has been distributed through letterboxes in Lymm during lockdown.
Lymm Parish Councillor Graham Gowland (pictured above with the offending leaflet), who is also a member of the Leave No One Behind in Lymm team, said: “Distributing a misleading leaflet in the middle of a pandemic is grossly irresponsible, and as a political leaflet, seems to be being illegally hand delivered by a local volunteer.
“What people may not realise is the far-right background to the leaflet, that seems more aimed at causing dissent and upset than keeping people safe.
“An independent enquiry at the right stage is needed, and that is the time to raise question, not now when thousands of people are dying and we need to follow the rules.”
The leaflet, being delivered on behalf of the Patriotic Alternative, caused an outpouring of anger on local social media channels.
Local residents said a woman was seen distributing the leaflets challenging lockdown and COVID-19.
The Patriotic Alternative is run by Mark Collett, a former director of publicity and former chairman for the youth wing of the far-right British National Party.
Its stance has been variously described as antisemitic and fascist.

I think that the UK does need a Patriotic Alternative, because all the mainstream political parties are echoing Globalist talking points that harm local workers and businesses. Even though the mainstream media slanders anybody who talks about pride for the nation our ancestors built, every time they raise the issue of demograpics, more people begin their own reseach as to what is happening in the UK and in other European nations. Do any white people really want to live as a minority ethnic group in their own homeland? This is already the case in London and Birmingham and other major British towns and cities will follow this trend, unless firm action is taken to reverse the disasterous ideology of multiculturalism.
Frankly, now is the time to counter these neo Marxist students of the Frankfurt school. They’re destroying this country, and they know it. Counselor Gowland appears to be one of them. Patriotic Alternative is an antidote to the communist insanity promoted by these traitors.
You are deluded. All the major parties in the UK are Capitalist. No one questions this, even the Corbanites.
Call the fascist groups out like PA, routes in BNP and the NF.
