Residents urged to be vigilant following bike thefts from sheds

POLICE at Penketh are warning local residents to be extra vigilant following a number of incidents involving bikes being stolen from garden sheds.

Residents are being advised to ensure bikes are locked away using D-Locks.
When lockdown restrictions have been eased local officers will be working with the local Resident Association to do bike marking.
Funding for the bike marking has been secured with assistance from the Resident Association.

We have had a report that sheds have been entered and bikes have been stolen in the Penketh area, Please ensure bikes are locked away using D-Locks. When lockdown restrictions have been eased I will be working with the Resident Association to do bike marking
