Man, 49, arrested following spate of graffiti at Orford

POLICE have arrested a 49-year-old man following a spate of graffiti in the Orford area of Warrington.

The male was arrested by local officers on Norris Street, yesterday, Saturday, after a spate of graffiti in the area.
Residents have also complained of graffiti problems at the Norris Street / Wilkinson Street end of O’Leary Street.
Meanwhile, officers attended the Astroturf at Beamont High on Sunday afternoon after reports of a large gathering of youths playing football.
A police spokesperson said: “We understand times are hard at the moment but please be mindful we are in the middle of a global pandemic!”
