Road closures set for Lymm

A number of road closures are being proposed at Lymm later this month (February) for carriageway and footway surfacing.

Warrington Borough Council has made an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 for the following road closures from February 22nd for a period of up to six weeks.

Prohibition of Driving & Clearway: Entire lengths of road: Whitesands Road; Albany Road; West Heath Grove; Jubilee Grove; Pool Lane from Whitbarrow Road to Brookside Avenue; Clearway: Rushgreen Road from Reddish Crescent to Springbank Gardens.

The Order will be effective from 22nd February 2021 for 6 weeks between 8:30am and 5:30pm, when signed on site.
Access will be under the control of the relevant Contractor for the duration of the works. The alternative routes are Pool Lane via Whitbarrow Road, Pool Lane and vice versa; Whitesands Road via Star Lane, Whitbarrow Road, Northway, Albany Road and vice versa or via Star Lane, Albany Road and vice versa; Albany Road via Star Lane, Whitbarrow Road, Northway and vice versa.
The restrictions are required for carriageway and footway surfacing.
