Police launch investigation after two teenagers injured during alleged stabbing at Chapelford

POLICE are appealing for witnesses following a suspected stabbing incident involving two teenagers at Chapelford on Monday evening.

The incident which took lace at around 6.20pm is understood to have taken place on Portland Road, Chapelford.
The road was taped off as forensic officers visited the site but the road has since re-opened.
A Cheshire Police spokesperson said: “At 6.20pm on Monday, February 8, police were made aware of two people self-presenting at hospital following a disturbance.
“It is believed that the incident took place on Portland Road. A 19-year-old man sustained minor puncture wounds to his hand.
“An 18-year-old woman sustained serious injuries to her face.
“Enquiries into the incident are ongoing, and anyone with any information is asked to contact Cheshire Police.”
