Teenager arrested with offensive weapon as police plan to target Orford Lane

A teenager with an offensive weapon was one of three arrests made by Warrington Police who plan to target the Orford Lane area of town next week.

The 19-year-old male was arrested on Orford Lane in possession of an offensive weapon while a 41-year-old man was arrested on Brick Street – wanted on recall to prison.
Meanwhile, a 58-year-old male was arrested in the town for attempted theft, going equipped to steal and possession of a bladed article.
Police say next week Orford Lane will be “Street of the Week”. If you are aware of any issues on Orford Lane please let them know.
