Four more COVID-19 deaths and 88 new cases confirmed in Warrington

FOUR more COVID-19 deaths have sadly been reported at Warrington Hospital since yesterday, while 88 new cases have been confirmed in the town continuing a downward trend.

The number of COVID-19 inpatients at the hospital has also come down again with a total of 16 patients discharged in the last 24 hours.
The 88 (76) new cases in the latest daily update from Public Health England means the total number of confirmed COVID-19 cases reported in Warrington since the start of the pandemic is now 15,915 (15,827).
Cases in Warrington for the last seven days, previous days/updates in brackets, are 701 (714) – 333.8 (340) per 100,000 population, continuing a downward trend over a seven day pertiod.

Covid-19 positive inpatients 193 (204) of which 21 (21) are in ICU

*The highest number COVID-19 positive inpatients during the first wave was on 12th April with 124 patients of which 18 were in ICU.

The total number of deaths in Warrington within 28 days of a positive test reported by Public Health England is currently 432 (430) 205.7 per 100,000 population.
The total number of deaths with Covid-19 on the death certificate in Warrington reported by Public Health England is 452 (452).
