One more death and 76 new COVID-19 cases as downward trend continues

ONE more COVID-19 related death has sadly been reported at Warrington Hospital since yesterday, while 76 new cases have been confirmed in the town continuing a downward trend.

The number of COVID-19 inpatients at the hospital has also come down with a total of 29 patients discharged in the last 24 hours.

The 76 (64) new cases in the latest daily update from Public Health England means the total number of confirmed COVID-19 cases reported in Warrington since the start of the pandemic is now 15,827 (15,751).
Cases in Warrington for the last seven days, previous days/updates in brackets, are 714 (722) – 340 (343.8) per 100,000 population, continuing a downward trend over a seven day pertiod.
