Motorist who crashed into three parked cars arrested on suspicion of drug driving

A motorist who collided with three parked cars in Warrington on Saturday night has been arrested on suspicion of drug driving.

The incident occurred at At 11pm on Saturday 30 January when police officers on patrol in Warrington came across a collision in the town.
The incident involved a blue Volkswagen Golf, which had collided with three parked cars, a black Vauxhall Astra, a black Peugeot 107 and grey Citroen C1, on O‘Leary Street.
The driver of the Volkswagen Golf, a 22-year-old local man, who gave a positive drug swipe at the scene, was arrested on suspicion of drug driving he has since been released under investigation pending further enquiries.
