Appeal for witnesses following collision involving 78-year-old woman at Lymm

WITNESSES are being sought by police following a collision involving a 78-year-old woman pedestrian at Lymm just before Christmas.

The collision occurred at around 4pm on Wednesday 23 December when police attended reports of a collision involving a 78-year-old pedestrian and a red Fiat Doblo van on Barsbank Lane.
The 78-year-old woman sustained serious injuries but has since been discharged from hospital.
A 32-year-old man, the driver of the van, was uninjured during the incident.
Officers are now appealing to anyone who may have witnessed the collision or captured dashcam footage of the incident to come forward.
