WARRINGTON Town Netball Club has won headline sponsorship from homebuilder, Taylor Wimpey North West.
The £600 cash boost will cover the cost of new oufits for the five senior squads ensuring they look their very best during matches.
The club, which has taught netball to children and adults in the area for more than 45 years, is based just a short distance from the firm’s Aldon Wood development in Great Sankey.
Club manager Chris White said:: “We’re absolutely delighted to receive such a generous donation from Taylor Wimpey and really can’t thank them enough.
“Netball is a massive sport and growing in popularity each day, even more so since the Netball World Cup held in Liverpool last year. However, for reasons unknown, it’s really hard to find sponsorship.
“We’ve had the same kit for a long time, so being able to update it and provide the senior teams with brand-new, professional standard kit is just priceless to us and the ladies. They really look like they mean business now!”
Stuart Craig, sales and marketing director at Taylor Wimpey North West, added: “We pride ourselves on supporting the communities in which we build. Warrington Town Netball Club plays a very important role in the area and we’re thrilled to be able to offer them out support after what has been an incredibly hard year for non-profit organisations.
“The new kit looks outstanding and we hope they contribute to a successful forthcoming season.”
