New COVID-19 cases drop below 100 for first time since lockdown as downward trend continues

A total of 92 new COVID-19 cases have been confirmed in Warrington in the latest daily update from Public Health England, the first time the figure has dropped below 100 since lockdown.

The 92 (142) new cases continues a downward trend for a 10th consecutive day, although reporting figures can be less at weekends.
The total number of confirmed COVID-19 cases reported in Warrington, since the start of the pandemic is now 14,869 (14,777).
Cases in Warrington for the last seven days, previous days/updates in brackets, are 958 (1,031) – 456.2 (490.9) per 100,000 population.
